Adderall is used as a combination drug that contains four salts of amphetamine. The mixture of Adderall is composed of equal parts of racemic amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. They produce a ratio of 3:1 between dextroamphetamine and levoamphetamine, the two enantiomers of amphetamine. Enantiomers are stimulants, but different to give Adderall an effects profile distinct from those of racemic amphetamine or dextroamphetamine, which are named as Evekeo and Dexedrine/Zenzedi.
